The Rover Institute
The Rover Institute (TRI) is a geospatial research endeavor with expertise in unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, mobile mapping, web mapping, web development, geospatial programming, and graphic design.
While TRI explores traditional geospatial solutions, we specialize in several areas. These include, 1) data acquisition with unmanned aircraft systems, 2) high-end graphic design and cartography, and 3) web design and online mapping solutions. In this way, TRI provides a true end-to-end research solution, from data acquisition to content distribution.
TRI engages projects related to natural resources or agriculture, producing orthophotographs, three-dimensional models, and digital surface and digital terrain models for use in GIS and remote sensing transformations. The products produced, aid in improving management decisions and business practices in a variety of industries.
The Rover Institute's research provides value to federal, state, and local government agencies, non-governmental organizations, other businesses, and private landowners.
