DISSEMINATING SPATIAL INFORMATION

The Rover Institute is committed to producing reports and maps of the highest quality. In geospatial science, end products vary depending on the demands of a project. Often, reports and maps simply need to convey information simply and clearly. However, many projects will ultimately address a broader audience that is more receptive to information that is visually appealing, or tells a story. At TRI, we explore new ways to convey information efficiently and effectively.

AERIAL IMAGE & TRUECOLOR MAPS

REAL WORLD VISUALIZATIONS

Through aerial data collection, structure from motion, and other methods, The Rover Institute develops orthophotographs and 3D models. We have a unique style of developing these products into maps. We integrate cartographic techniques and graphic design with truecolor images and models to develop unique visualizations for displaying information. These maps can be of great value to field research endeavors. They can be used in planning field work and logistics, documenting methods, and displaying research results.

RAISED RELIEF MAPS

ENGAGING THE AUDIENCE

At The Rover Institute, we are passionate about maps. Beautiful maps provide a clear message regarding features or patterns of activity on the Earth's surface. We specialize in developing new methods for producing cartographic products and strive to create maps that are as visually appealing as they are informative.

REPORTS

THE END PRODUCT

TRI's team holds years of experience developing professional documents. We believe reports should be simple, clear, and concise. As with maps, some reports require little flare, while others can benefit from enhanced graphical elements. Attractive visualizations can bring a report to life, and convey information more clearly than words alone.
